ECPA Mother's Day Fundraising on 05/11/24

ECPA (Eastchester Chinese Parents Association) successfully held a Mother's Day Fundraising near Eastchester High School on 05/11/24.

The event aims to raise funds for ECPA, and more importantly, provide a platform for children in the school district to demonstrate their craft skills, learn and participate in basic business operations. During the event, we sold special Mother’s Day gifts and Mother’s Day cards handmade by children in the school district.

We were delighted to see the event meet and exceed expectations. With the strong support of participants and the hard work of more than a dozen young volunteers (ages 2 to 12 years old), we raised close to $300 from the community. All profits will be used directly to share Chinese culture in the school district and provide educational support to Chinese families.

2024年5月11日，ECPA (Eastchester华人家长会)在Eastchester高中附近成功举办了一场母亲节义卖销售活动。

此次活动旨在为ECPA筹集资金，更重要的是为学区孩子们提供一个展示手工技巧，学习并参与基本商业运行的平台。活动中，我们义卖了母亲节特色的小礼物和学区孩子们手工制作的母亲节卡片。

我们很高兴看到活动达到并超过了预期。在参加者的大力支持和十几位小志愿者（年龄从2岁到12岁）的辛勤努力下，我们从社区筹集了接近300美元。所有盈利将直接用于在学区中传播中华文化，以及为华人家庭提供教育支持。
